Project Summary: For the Mamas provides a space for a series of free community art workshops designed for mothers and their children in San Jose. I collaborated with Jessica Gutierrez, the creator of For the Mamas, to develop various graphic assets for the Mosaic of Motherhood art exhibit, which brought together local mothers to showcase their artwork. Jessica wanted to lean into the look and feel of real colorful mosaic tiles. We completed this design with the selection of a handwritten, organic and fun typeface.
